Pound Cake by Shehnaz 5Stars

Bake 160C for 60 minutes
MINI TRAY 33 CAKES
Or ROUND cake pan

Ingredients 

1tsp+1/2 tsp Baking powder 

2 cups pastry flour,cake flour, all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt

200 grams unsalted butter room temperature 

2/3 cup sugar or ( if not making syrup then use 1 cup sugar all together )

4 eggs room temperature 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

1 lemon zest, lime or Orange zest 1tsp

3 tb.sp milk

Mix sugar,  butter on high.

Beat eggs and pour little at a time in blender.

Add vanilla stop processor.

Add flour, baking powder, salt and lemon zest and mix with wooden spoon.

Bake at 350F 160C for 50 to 55 minutes in 8" round cake pan.
Tip:
Do not open oven at all once cake is in the oven.
Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add dry in wet and mix it with wooden spoon.

Lemon cake
Syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup lemon juice fresh
1 lemon zest

If making orange cake
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice fresh
1 orange zest

Cook everything together to make syrup.

Let cake completely cool.

Muffin cups 18 cups

Bake 160C for 60 minutes
MINI TRAY 33 CAKES 
Or rectangle pan

Ingredients 

1tsp+1/2 tsp Baking powder 

2 cups pastry flour,cake flour, all purpose flour 
1/2 tsp salt

200 grams unsalted butter room temperature 

2/3 cup sugar 

5eggs room temperature 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

3 tbsp milk or half and half cream

1/2 cup homemade watermelon glazed tutti frutti 


Method

Mix sugar,  butter on high.

Beat eggs and pour little at a time in blender.

Add vanilla stop processor.

Add flour, baking powder, salt and lemon zest and mix with wooden spoon.

Bake at 320F 160C for 60  minutes.
Tip:
Do not open oven at all once cake is in the oven. 
Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together. 
Add dry in wet and mix it with wooden spoon. 

Then add tutti fuitti

Let cake completely cool.

Pork cake with toothpick.   Pour this warm syrup over cake.
